I been avoiding AAA like the plague lately. It's $70 for half the fucking game and you got to consult a spread sheet to make sure you don't get the wrong one. Your lucky if you put 10 hours in on it total.

I found an indy game today for $15 and binged it for 10 hours. Hoping for a slow week at work to play more.

    As a hypothetical potential user, I see "no porn" from a site I seen a lot of porn on in the past. The first thing I think is a big corpo bough them and milked it dry. Even if it's not enforced the perception is "we caved to censorship for profit over letting our users do whatever doesn't wreak the law". They killed trust.

    I been trying to find one for a while. Its from a metal band and may be on a relatively new abum. I tried search, ai, looking though history and can't for the life of me find anything past a fragment of lyrics I can vaugly understand. I think IRS from a rather mainstream band but not one I'm familiar enough with.
    I don't remember enough and most of its hard to understand the lyrics are close in sound but likely wrong AF.

    I have many conversations with people about Large Language Models like ChatGPT and Copilot. The idea that "it makes convincing sentences, but it doesn't know what it's talking about" is a difficult concept to convey or wrap your head around. Because the sentences are so convincing....

    I been playing with the Mistral 7b models. About the most my hardware can reasonably run... so far. Would love to add vision and voice but I'm just happy it can run.

    Check out the vladmandic fork of auto1111. It seems to be much quicker with new model support.

    Been wanting to try voice cloning and totally not cobble together a DIY Ai wiafu.

    I never had any luck with most of the extensions let alone figuring out how to format a prompt for the API. I'm just making shit up as I go.

    I use TextgenWebui and sometimes Kobold. I can only run it with 4bit quant enabled since I'm just short on VRam to fully load the model.

    Text gen runs a server you access though the web browser instead of a desktop app.

    I haven't tried GPT4all.

    No problem. It's fairly easy to figure out in a few minutes if you know Auto1111. Getting your model to actually load may need some tweaking, but I managed to just trial and error it.

    You got to ride the youtube algo musical rabbit hole down to the bottom, otherwise it just feeds you the same 10 playlist. Find a song/band outside your norm that is tolerable, then you can choose a direction based off recommended. You can upvote what you like/the right direction to tune the algo. You should get mostly top songs from that artist or similar bubbles, although if your adventurous check smaller artist and explore. There's hidden diamonds.

    Eventually you find some random anon artist with a weird cult following and what seems to be a sub-sub-sub-sub genera with artist with the same vibe. There will be bubbles of artist remixing each-other, working together, starting fights and drama, and making good shit. Follow what catches your attention and youtube will eventually lead you to the good shit of a niche. I assume most services would do the same.
