It really depends. I'm not from US, so ebooks and regular books tend to have very similar prices, no idea why. I can get a regular book for 40 bucks and the ebook will be 30. No great. So I useually pirate all Ebooks I have and if I really like it, buy a paper copy of it. I really like to collect books, so there's that. Graphic novels, on the other hand, are exclusively physical, I'll only read a few chapters to see if I like the story, in case I've never heard of it, and buy the real one

Here in Brazil it is a gigantic status symbol. We have the most expensive iPhone in the world. iPhone 15 Pro max here is 9.3k, our minimum wage is 1.4k.
I never liked the OS and even if I could buy one, I'd never.
I've met people who said they don't really like their iPhone, but uses them to keep Status in check.
People are very stupid

Honestly? Nothing. People just say this kind of thing because we like to tinker with our devices. If what you bought satisfies your needs and you don't need more, that's just ok. Android/windows/linux has a lot more conveniences for my use, so that's what I go for, but not everyone is the same

For sure! An amount of "hate" for apple, or any company for that matter, is totally ok. Sometimes they make decisions that screw consumers just for a buck more. No reason to hate on users, tho. That's the same as saying anyone who uses a gas vehicle to go from one place to another is in favor of global warming

I tried something like that once. I was going to write about a weird nightmare I had. Ended up creating a “short” horror story that I write on days I'm feeling a little more angry — you can read that as violent if you want — and down. It isn't done yet, that's the reasons for the quotes, but I hope to get to the end sometime.

Nobody says they were masterpieces. But they were entertaining - and excellent at it as far as cheap entertainment goes -, now they’re just sad to watch. I followed it closely until No Way Home, that was my closing point. From now on, I’ll only watch Spider-Man movies because I’m a huge fan of the character. Couldn’t care less about the multiverse they’re selling

I prefer it this way. I like the function of the double tap open up a prompt to choose a playlist, feels more convenient. As for the heart vs plus button, i like the symbology of the plus button more, but that’s personal preference.
