Some body types are more...fashionable than others. For example, a woman who is deemed "chubby" now would've been a perfect 10 centuries ago.
Since beauty is subjective, tastes will be different from person to person, but certain types will dominate depending upon the culture at that time and place.
I was part of a coding bootcamp, and one day the class was talking about git. Somebody mentioned that "git" is also a word used as an insult, like "That guy is a total git". When I revealed that was where the name came from, several students audibly gasped, and a couple said something like "Oh, how embarrassing!" I had the weirdest sense of culture shock, and I had no doubt those students would make very good corporate drones.
Yeah, I quit watching him. Dude is pretty problematic. "Genocide is bad and wrong, but still vote for Biden, because party loyalty is more important." At least he has the balls to criticize Biden, which is more than I can say for some people.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've heard a lot of people use that same logic. "I want the cow to have a happy life before it's killed for my dinner". Isn't that the while logic behind "free range", "cage-free", etc.?
This is largely a myth. While it's true that caffeine is a diuretic, the effect on hydration is very small. This is especially true for tea, which has minimal amounts of caffeine. Hospitals are not full of people who got dehydrated from drinking too much coffee or even energy drinks.
Do a web search for "caffeine dehydration myth" (no quotes). There are lots of articles on the topic.
There's decaf tea, like there's decaf coffee, but it's still camellia sinensis.
Now, if you're talking about herbal tea, there are a bajillion different kinds: rooibos, chamomile, lavender, etc. Some herbal teas do have caffeine (such as yerba mate), but most do not.
Irrelevant, since that was decided by the Supreme Court, not Obama.
Yes, the SC sucks now, but it's going to suck regardless of who gets elected. That's kinda the point of the SC. It's independent of the executive branch.
The president has the power to appoint judges. So yeah, it's very much the fault of Trump that Roe was overturned.
Where did I say that it wasn't Trump's fault? Yes, Trump appointed the judges, and that might be a good reason not to vote for him, but that isn't the argument you were making.
The Democrats didn't codify Roe into law for decades, even when they had control of all three branches of government.
I would be really surprised if Trump won. The guy has so many points against him it's laughable. What's more, people know what kind of a president he'll be already. He isn't some wacky unknown like in 2016. So, people would be voting him with full knowledge of what they're voting for.
