Remember that Intel got their advantage by sabotaging AMD around 2009. They illegally bribed OEMs into not using AMD chips when AMD was ahead.

It's no wonder this company that can only use dirty tricks to get ahead turns out to be ran by israelis.

That Intel paid rebates to manufacturers on the condition that they would buy all (Dell) or nearly all of their CPUs from Intel.
That it paid retail stores rebates to only stock x86 parts.

That it paid computer manufacturers to halt or delay the launch of AMD hardware, including Dell, Acer, Lenovo, and NEC

That it restricted sales of AMD CPUs based on business segment and market. OEMs were given permission to sell higher percentages of AMD desktop chips, but were required to buy up to 95% of business processors from Intel. At least one manufacturer was forbidden to sell AMD notebook chips at all.

“Intel has chosen to approve an unprecedented investment of $25 billion and to establish its new factory right here in Israel,” Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich wrote in a post on X on Tuesday.

It's important for two reasons

First to build support and legimize a cause. if politicians actually listen then the violence would not have been justified yet Exemplified by schools that divested from israel without calling in the cops first.

Second it is the only way a movement can grow mainstream before turning to violence.The Black Panthers got so many members because MLK did his non violent thing for years.

There's still 6 months. I liked what Cornel West told Mehdi Hasan during his interview. It was along the lines of

"I'm not likely to win but if all the stars align then I can't capitalize on it if I wasn't there".

A lot of life comes down to participating and a large part of the result can be luck. Even if there's a 1/3000 chance that a third party would win, this would be one of the more likely elections in which that could happen if a massive migration wave happens from the Democrats to a third party candidate.

Most people are voting Democrat because they feel there's no other option. The second they feel the wind blowing differently they will jump ship.

I didn't follow Eurovision too closely so I cannot confirm whether Klein spoke up against israel before Eurovision. For now I'll correct my comment.

The key point is that israel violated multiple rules themselves and harassed many contestants including the Irish one. So the decision to completely axe Joost for what appears to be a very minor infraction can almost not be explained by anything else that external motivations.

The big difference is that organisations like ISIS try to take over other countries whereas Hamas is resisting colonists of their own country.
