@georgetakei You think Trump demands Barron always squat down in his presence, so he doesn't look taller than the old man? You know he worries about it.

@georgetakei If you think he's smarter than you thought he was, you may not be as smart as you think you are.

I spent 5 years writing FAQ pages and "talking people off the ledge" each time there was a collective meltdown.

I stopped doing that because it is never ending.

I keep saying the same things over and over.

In 2021, when people were demanding indictments, I said, "indictments are the start of a long harrowing process."

I explained that trials are harrowing.

Judges make bad decisions.

Juries don't always get it right. A person can be guilty but be acquitted.

@Teri_Kanefield Yes, it's a literary device. But we also are in fact running out of time. Or at least the judicial system is. In our system, accountability for criminal activity comes thru the courts. In this case, that accountability has been delayed, possibly denied, because, yeah, we ran out of time.

@georgetakei If the quote starts with anyone calling him "sir", it's a lie. Also, this quote shows that Trump is off his game ... back when he was sharper, he would have added that the general was crying uncontrollably.

@georgetakei Apparently, the beatings will continue until ad revenue increases. When did "the customer is always right" get replaced by "the psychotic billionaire is always right"?

Trump knows there are crazy people out there who will take violent action on his behalf if asked. He knew that on January 6, and he knows that today. That’s why he must be stopped from publicly attacking judges and prosecutors. He’s a threat to the system and to lives.

@georgetakei One possible response I haven't heard floated yet is this. First, the judge tells Trump if he violates the protective order again he will be locked up for 24 hours. Easy peasy, his secret service security can take a chair outside his cell to "protect" him. Kind of like a jail sleepover. If he does it again, 48 hours in jail, then 72 and so on until he stops. He'll stop b/c he's a coward.
