If people who are literally going to die if they don’t find money for their healthcare can’t raise it with the economy bring so awful (one is @Tinu who could really use the help), then what chance do I have to escape abuse and pay for all the steps to freedom?

But if ask for volunteers in #advocacy to #help or a place to stay, it just just doesn’t work so there’s no spare money but even with this economy people struggling with a spare room would rather not help or would rather advertise for a stranger? I can pay you rent so we’re helping each other! I’m a stranger for a lot of you but not all & I have people who can vouch for me not being a psychopath! 👍

I would really appreciate people to help because I live in a safe Labor seat so accessing services is impossible in many cases because the books are closed or they don’t exist. I’ve had so many people in rich catchments tell me it isn’t so because they have the red carpet rolled out. I challenge them to call the local council and they won’t…
I’ve contacted the local and federal MPs 3 times and they don’t care. Some senators have been okay but can’t do much because they aren’t in power.

There’s no funding. I’ve been waiting for advocacy services for 2 years & no DV orgs help the disabled or chronically ill. I’ve tried them all & have emails for proof (a lot of people don’t understand that most services cease to exist as soon as you’re disabled). It got so bad I’ve even asked a priest for help (no help). He just victim blamed. Maybe I should try protestants?

Am I just not asking the right way? If you can word things better #volunteers are welcome.

I’m exhausted and miss things so it’s possible!

I really hope the majority #Gazan #Palestinians make it of out this genocide alive. It’s an obvious statement for me but the world is 🤷‍♀️

I just wonder if in future they will look to friendly Westerners/ random countries that recognise Palestine and people online for help instead of other Arabs and Muslim majority countries because most have let them down.

They’re probably getting more help from people donating to their GoFundMes and TIk Tok campaigns than “official talks” and “aid”. Yes that’s partly Israeli interference but it’s also partly bullshit.

(Yes I realise there are Palestinian Christians & Jews in Gaza too but they’re a small minority and nobody is listening to them either. Most are Arab though.)

The IDF are killing Christians hiding in Churches in West Bank and nobody gives a shit about them either. There’s no Hamas there, so why is there a ‘military operation’ going on there as well? wtf. The only good thing about this is the Christian churches are working together to save each other, at least in Jerusalem. I’m not particularly religious but the unity is nice.

How is humanity going to come back from this? It’s not as if nobody knows what going on. It’s being live streamed online. It’s the worst stuff I’ve seen in my life and the perpetrators really don’t care.

One lesson learned is just how much money is invested in Israel. I had no idea it is a gold mine for the West. Another is how much our schools have failed us.

Albanese’s Escaping Violence package shows no signs of including the #disabled and people with #ChronicIllness so we’re still on our own. Yes the government forgot to ‘forgot’ to include us. Current DV and family violence services won’t help us. I’ve tried them all.

If one can’t then they are affiliated with others that might and can ask people in their congregation. Put a plea on their message board irl or Facebook/ whatever online presence they have.

I am living with abuse /neglect and can’t do this anymore.

We could go halves in rent or some other arrangement depending on your living circumstances. If you’ve got your own #home, even better.

I have some emergency savings to get going. Can sort something out.

People have been asking me since 2015 to set up a birthday wishlist over on Twitter. I’ve finally given in now almost that everyone I knew has left and it’s now called X.
It only took me 9 years. So it’s good to start a decade in advance if you want me to accept your gift.🤷‍♀️

I had no idea how much hardcore Zionist propaganda was part of the media machine in Australia. That’s the point though, you grow up with it and don’t know any different.
There’s the conspiracy theory that Jews control Hollywood when really it’s the uber Zionists (among others). And you cannot say a thing against them. They will always fall back on antisemitism which has nothing to do with it. Jews are fine, just like any other people. Hardcore Zionists are problematic.
Side note: Have always defended Israel until the recent past. Partly because I didn’t fully understand, partly because Israel (government and military) seemed to conduct themselves with less zealotry. It thought it was just a few bad seeds. Have heard Palestinian testimony supporting this. I just stayed out of it in recent years because I didn’t know enough and tend not to mess with things I don’t understand. Now…

It took me this long to see how bad the media indoctrination is. Partly because this kind of thing doesn’t happen in Australia, right?
That’s embarrassing.

I had to see people get carpet bombed in a hospital live to understand.

It’s made me reassess a lot of things.
