I noticed that for a week or so now the community has been much smaller tham it used to be. I'm seeing an almost 90% decrease in posts, comments, and votes. Did something get defederated or did a big community go down? Lemmy stats show that Lemmy average user count is still about the same.
Hm, I’m afraid at this moment the most common solution is github.com/CMahaff/lasim, which requires a computer. Would you be able to get access to one at some point later?
Because I have no interest in them, or they are NSFW and don’t tag properly, or they are duplicates with ones I already follow (technology communities are a good example)

I guess this is not supported even on Lemmy’s server side. Actually, it kind of makes sense, because to get such a link, your home instance would need to have discovered the target community, which is not always the case.
As a workaround (works, but tedious), you have to open the target community in your home instance, find the post, and then you get the link. I guess that it could be automated somehow later on.
META - where did the people go?
