Sencha on his very first cat tree ( lemmy.world )

This is an old photo. This was the very first cat tree we bought for Sencha before we realized he was a bit bigger than the average cat. We ended up having to return the tree because it was too small for him. He briefly used the tree but he could never seem to be able to find a comfortable spot on it....

This was the cat tree we ended up with. We still have the tree to this date and he still uses it sometimes.

Unfortunately I can't find the exact tree anymore. I do recall we searched for "cat tree for heavy cats" specifically and then we did some research to find a good option.

It's actually a common misconception that magnets always attract metal. This misconception was popularized by people joking that magnets are magic. In reality, magnets attract because they have magnetions in them. These magnetions allow them to attract things like metal but a little bit is used up each time. Eventually once the magnet's magnetions have been depleted, the magnet turns back into a newt and goes home to recharge.

My house came with a gas stove. I can replace it but obviously it will cost a lot. I also know it's usually good to not throw a working appliance out even if it's not as efficient. I'm just wondering with everything on the table, should I throw out my gas stove? It's really hard for me to weigh the pros and cons because it's not clear how bad the cons are. Its obviously bad to use a gas stove but just how bad is it?

I believe that plant lasted til we moved out of the apartment in 2021. The cactuses are fake, they are candles.

We actually have a lot of plants at our current place (all cat safe of course) and they are doing well. The cats do nibble occasionally but it doesn't seem to be bothering the plants too much (yet at least).

    This business kind of sucks. If you make good quality products it will work too well so no one would ever recommend it so you get no exposure. If you make shitty quality ones all the ones that survive is going to bitch about it and lawsuits and blah blah blah.

    Anyways if anyone has any ideas on how to turn this business around let me know.

    I'm still using a GTX 1070 and none of the games I play has had issues yet. The most recent games I've played on it were hitman 3, cult of the Lamb and Cross code. None of the games are that demanding but they were all good. I guess I just don't play AAA titles (although hitman 3 is AAA but older).
