NY case is going forward on April 15. Trump's last ditch efforts to delay it with motions won't work. Is he attacking Merchan's daughter to build evidence that the judge doesn't like him?

The DA could respond with filing new criminal charges for targeted harrassment or assault as that's what TFG is doing right now. No, it doesn't have to be part of the current case. He can be tried for that later.

Yeah, I keep overlapping the immunity/NY cases - my bad...

I suspect they won't rule immediately as the conservative majority doesn't want to be seen as 'interfering' in the election. Pushing the calendar back won't help though. Smith is ready to go. They could theoretically still start the trial in September or October.

His rhetoric is getting more violent because he's trying to ignite a new wave of enthusiasm for himself. His crowds, meanwhile, are smaller. His rallies more infrequent. His surrogates almost non-existent.

He's back to attacking Fani Willis now as his attempt to get the Georgia case dismissed failed. Watch for the death threats against his declared enemies to escalate following each rally.

This one is a Pyrrhic victory at best for Trump. Wade has to go, but Willis is still prosecuting TFG and she still has the RICO expert on her team which is why Trump wanted the whole team disqualified.

This trial will happen - probably not on the schedule I hoped for - but it will happen. The delays are getting shorter - even Bragg's bllind-side by SDNY and Trump's late request is only 30 days...that's acceptable. He knew fighting the delay would create weeks of hearings and push it back further so he threw out a four week bone for Trump to chew on.

None of these decisions are a get out of jail free card for Trump...and he knows it.
