I had the pleasure of hearing Eileen Collins talk once and it was awesome. Incredible story teller and very funny.

Told a story about how they lost a bag of orange juice on the ISS and couldn't find it. Wasn't until they were trying to detatch (module? Something else? Not sure) that they found it by pushing down on a pedal and it exploded. In the moment everyone was terrified, but once they found it, it became a pretty big joke of their mission. Apparently their debrief was pretty much just being yelled at for the orange juice.

To have both in focus does make it obvious it's an edit, yeah. Pretty much any photo where you see a near object and a in detail far object like the moon is a composite photo.

To get really detailed photos of the moon, you're more than likely taking hundreds of individual photos of the moon, stacking those (using software) and then compositing with another image.

This is an image I took which is actually about ~650 images of the moon through a telescope using a DLSR

Something similar to this composited onto another image would be a focus stack (like a tree or any other near object).

Generally, both images are taken at the same time, place, direction, etc. - so I don't really see it as "Fake" just more like an edit, which most photos are anyways to some degree.

That first photo of VEO looks like me in the morning when I forget to drink water before bed lol

Overall, not too ugly, definitely not the prettiest owl.
And I'd agree that "Milky Owl" really isn't any better.

This owl definitely scores points back by being able to eat large mamels and hedgehogs!

I used Power Delete Suite but I had to modify it a bit to put in a delay of about 30-45 seconds for each comment as I was editing the text for each one prior to deleting.

Took quite a while, but in the end my account was gone. I'm sure reddit could pull stuff from it if they really wanted, but no user facing options exist - even "deleted reddit comment viewers".

Edit: I will say that I'm unsure if this still works (or any editing tools) because of the API changes.

The decision tree my company uses to deny customer claims is not AI despite the business constantly referring to it as such.

There’s definitely a ton of “AI” that is nothing more than an If/Else statement.
