Also thank you for sharing all these great owl pics and info, I joined the group spontaneously when I saw an interesting picture on my feed and now I've kinda started to look forward new owl news - these posts often make my day! Quality stuff!
I must say your enthusiasm struck me and I went and scrolled to the very beginning of the group and read through mosts of the posts and learned quite a bit (and so do my friends who now have to tolerate "owl fact of the day" -speeches) :'D I thought I might contribute to the group more than just silly commenting and make some posts about owls in Finland as well as owl-related Finnish folklore & language facts that people might find interesting -- so I guess I have to start doing some research now!
Dino is a big guy, but he was more obese when we got him. Slowly moving to a healthy weight. But there's a long way to go. He's physically large as well, he's just big boned! Carrying him is like carrying a human baby lol

Eye contact? Thst too sounds like swedish shenanigans to me! A friendly Finn is one who moves far enough to the side when you pass, you know, to give space. Space is the second thing we love the most right after sauna boats! You know, the personal kind!
Thank you for the clarification, I shall consider us Psychopaths (Proudly, Adored) from now on :D /j nah but honestly speaking like half of us are depressed and the other half is just about to be. Straightforward here doesn't mean saying what bothers you and we can be quite jealous people. Oh and shame is definitely our national feeling. I'd like to visit America one day and experience the vastness and see if people really are as confident and shamelessly proud as depicted!

Thank you so much for sharing! This is really relatable and interesting theory and provoked lots of thoughts, I read another article from the same author about grand emotions and it too was striking, super inspiring stuff and I feel more validated after reading these.
I actually began to doubt if the therapy I went to was “off” as the focus on emotional skills was on “non-autistic emotions” and that underlined the fact that I wasn’t at all good with those, but there wasn’t much recognition and support for emotions such as those mentioned in the grand emotions article.
