The "outsider"

The "outsider" narrative is not just ruling class narrative, it's has significant currency amongst our comrades too who with their 1st draft thoughts decided Hamas are outsiders to Palestinians, who think Palestinians needs to be saved, but Hamas (one of the primary Palestinian resistance thats willing to fight their oppressors physically) needs to be eliminated this Nazi regime because "security".

I will write a detailed post later once I find sometime why that position is mistaken (I am still composing my arguments against that easy position to take).

What they are advocating is destroying the primary resistance of Palestine against Nazis they are dealing with. I can't speak for Palestinians as I am not one, but from what I know from our own history, what some of our comrades who are "disgusted" by Hamas apologia (in my book they still have legitimacy for the substantive portion of what they did) are falling to recognise is this:

They (even I) are not living there. They have not endured what every member of Hamas (yes they are Palestinians too, which some of refuse to see because of slaughter Hamas engaged in) have endured. Just because we say Free Palestine, Palestinians won't be freed from the subjugation by Nazis. The slaughter won't stop.

Without that resistance Hamas, what Palestinians will have post genocide is a take it or leave it deal (if they are not expelled completely outside Palestine by Nazis) written by Nazi regime, imposed by Empire & their agent Palestine Authority while some of us go & shout how unfair & wrong it is.

This is a useful technique for those engaged various forms of resistance to State thuggery incl genocide, not just genocide.

I am not sure how widely this is used, but this technique being practices in London i.e slashing tyres of vehicles State goons brought to kidnap people is probably a low-risk yet quite an effective technique, esp when State goons gather to kidnap us in large groups.

While ruling class has the interest to ensure the genocide happens "peacefully" without peasants fighting back, there is also one more important thing that's going on now — esp amongst fellow comrades in the West.

Don't fall for divide-and-rule strategy

Anyone who is talking about what % of protesters are "peaceful" i.e 99% or 99.9% or any other percent have not seriously thought about what they are arguing.

They are wilfully falling into the trap ruling class laid right for them.

Ruling class is the violent thug thats butchering people, it's while legitimacy is built on brutalising people & it doesn't have any legitimacy to talk about so called "violence".

Those who incessantly get worried about proving victims are not "violent" i.e they are not engaging in self-defense acts to stop the crimes of State are only giving legitimacy to the only form of protest thats done to save ones own conscience & if others do escalate (that definately did lot of net good based on history, tho some people were harmed) only makes those who take real risk to do some good more vulnerable & prepares them for condemnation.

On Nazis & so called "non-violence"

In the best case, the punishment for butchering 1000 people is same as butchering a 100,000 people.

If one is evil, if they want to slaughter thousand, it makes sense to slaughter as much as feasible in one go, which is what that Nazi regime is doing now.

Death by a committee

Looks like various administrators are following various tactics to avoid doing anything about genocide now.

Being content with pittance

It's perfectly okay for people to not take the risk they are not comfortable with.

But insisting on celebrating a nothing burger from some of the student groups is just coping.

If I wrote 100 items on a list of demand that are not heart of a dispute, that ruling class allows me to "win" on, with no commitment on the actual substantive purpose of the protest — that 1 or 2 things, that's a straightforward loss, no matter the spin.

Some of these "wins" being celebrated as "wins" are just the same "wins" shitlibs already gave before. Symbolic not substantive.

It's exactly same as them agreeing to dropping food from above (sometimes on people's heads) while simultaneously dropping bombs to kill.

Getting agreement on former is nothing to celebrate. Getting substantive concession on later is what matters.

When the "leadership" i.e Professional Managerial Class (PMC) gets involved, this is exactly what happens. Getting no substantive concession on divestment but getting some symbolic stuff is just theatre.

On Street muscle

Here are two dominant aspects of shitlib morality with regards to Hamas.

1. Don't praise a resistance struggle unless it's as clean as I am comfortable with (never happened in history, unlikely ever to happen). Better condemn it because there is blood (or) They din't just kill only "military" people.
2. Claiming both sides are gangsters, which is a farcical position to hold — even as an anarchist, as that erases the legitimacy question entirely & it ignores the circumstance under which one side is forced to resort to violence.

In my view, both are short-sighted views (history will judge me too as much as it judges who hold those other views — may be I will be proven wrong too, as it's Palestinians who are going to decide what they are going to honour & we will have 3rd party perspectives too). We only have to read histories of many societies in 3rd world beyond sanitised versions to know why those views are short sighted.

Oppressed are not looking for our approval on how they need to break their chains. They want them broken & are not looking for the certification from those who are not subjected to the same violence. We will only understand that when we are subjected to exactly that long enough, not pretending we can understand that from a distance.

If Palestinians gets rid of apartheid, genocide & settler colonialism — as part of a single political entity/seperate entity or as any other political formation, my guess is Oct 7th will be remembered as martyrs day (or) day of attempted rebellion (or) Intifada (or) something of that sort, atleast so far as I can see it based on what I know from struggles in history.

Clapping about history & revolutions after someone obtained liberation is not same as distancing oneself from the history while it happens. What I know for a fact is Oct 7th is a historical day for Palestinian liberation struggle, however later events turns out.

I know it's difficult to form ones morality distinct from dominant morality that claims to talk about so called peace while being most violent, but grey areas is the most substantive area to explore before we form our own morality.
