I'm a big fan of the short form for horror so this format was made for me. Four interconnected stories that ramped up the creep factor.

A literary agent tries to track down a client who has dropped off the grid while working on a difficult screen adaptation.

Two bag men accept a job to deliver a rare book, with a few strange stipulations on how the book is to be handled and transported.

A boy with a strange pop-up book and few friends invites classmates to his birthday party.

A man tries to understand what happened to a former colleague after she received a series of emails with strange audio attachments.

Ones I needed to cross off my list:

-FOLK TALES FOR TRAUMA SURGEONS by Keith Rosson
-DIAVOLA by Jennifer Thorne
-MONSTRILIO by Gerardo Sámano Córdova
-SILENT KEY by Laurel Hightower

I think I chose wisely but if you've read any, weigh in!

Folk Songs is on my TBR and I just picked up Silent Key. I'm not familiar with the other titles... have you read any other Córdova or Thorne?
